About Me

I love mysteries, movies about the civil war, beautiful music, and family. I have always wanted to be a writer. I enrolled in ICL's course in Feb 2010. I have a large family which includes many animals. Farm life is the only life for me.:)

Contests are good practice ground. My advice, from experience, is to try for those contests which don't require a major cash reading fee for each submission. That can get pricey.

You can go to Winning Writer's website and find all sorts of contests that are free, from poetry, fiction, and non-fiction publications. Lots of practice and little cash outlay.

Glad you're enjoying yourself. Keep up the work, learn lots, and then show the world what you've got. That's the ticket.
